Question: What makes the book of Daniel a mystery?
It is deliberately that way, as said conclusively in Dan.12:4–13!
The reasoning seems to be that some of the detail is extreme, and as is said, “only the wise will understand”.
These comments probably do not cover all the reasons that are in the narrative, but are a strong guide for study!
The Lord spoke about Daniel in Matt. 24!
